Band
at St. Patrick
St. Patrick offers Beginning Band
and two Advanced Band options.
Students are able to start Beginning Band in 4th grade. After
completion of Beginning Band students in 5th and 6th grade are
eligible for Advanced Band which meets two days per week.
When students are in 7th and 8th grade they may sign up for band as
an elective which is held each day during 6th period.
The primary band instruments are flutes, clarinets, saxophones,
trumpets, trombones and percussion. As students progress they
may want to consider instruments which are not listed above.
This is my 18th year teaching band at St. Patrick School. My
wife Darla and I live in Puyallup and have two girls. Lauren
is six and Sara is nine.
