Hello! I'm Scott Jamieson, the sixth grade science teacher at
Lakeside School.
This website is under construction, but for more information and
some pictures of students in action, you may click on the
"Links" section at the left to see more about my goals and
topics in sixth grade science at Lakeside School.
The sixth graders have been studying chemistry and working with
manipulating hot glass tubing over Bunsen burners. Now,
thanks to the generous offer of Sale Rhodes' mom, Lee, the sixth
graders will soon be making a field trip to glassybaby. (Find

this web page.)
This upcoming field trip to the glassybaby studio in Madrona will
take place for half of the sixth graders on March 19th and the
other half on March 21st. They will get a chance to learn
more about Lee's vision, her business, the art and science of
glass, and they will get to try their hand at blowing glass.
