  • Many authors have websites that provide biographical information and much more.
  • Create a Coggle highlighting the author’s works, achievements, and inspirations.
  • Also, include why you chose to research the author you selected
  • What you learned from and about that author as a writer and person.

Outside Reading Book Project

Also known as the Independent Reading Project is important for students to keep reading outside the classroom.  

If you are having trouble picking a book out check out GoodReads List for 6 - 8th Graders or Read Alikes if you really enjoyed a serious or book and looking for another one that is similar.
